A father of a cerebral palsy child at the town hall meeting in Monroe Michigan addressed congressman Dingell asking if his child would receive health care under the health care reform bill. Congressman Dingell said there would be an ammendment to the bill detailing how the health care bill will be changed to allow for this. The father asked for the ammendment number but the congressman could not provide it.
The father and son were later visited at night at their home and received threats from some liberal or union protestors that did not like what he had to say.
